所谓阅读法就是通过阅读记忆单词。坚持每天阅读一、两篇难易度适当、生词适中、语言生动有趣的短文。这些词会在不同的文章中重复出现，见得多了自然就"混熟了"。而且这样记忆的好处是你可以把单词放到相应的语境中、句子中来记，当想起这个词时就相应地想起一句话，这样既容易理解词意又学会了如何去用它，而不像孤零零的一个词，让你无从想象。
三、联想法记
“词汇是联想网储存记忆的了解一个词的意义就变成了了解该词与其他词联想的任务”。
1.同音联想。如: whole- hole /week- weak /sun- son.
2.同词联想。如: big- great- large- huge- vast- enormoustremedous.
3.反义词联想。old- young- new/borrow- lend /positivenegative.
4.词形相近联想。如: want(想要)- wait(等待) /read(读)ready(准备好的) /wall(墙)- walk(走)。
6.加减联想。加减联想, 就是对一个生词加上或减去一个联想单位, 从而变成一个熟悉的词。可以用这个熟词、参与加减的联想单位, 以及生词的中文意思三部分构成一组联想单位来记忆。
六、同义词记忆法
把具有相同意义的单词归类, 不仅可以记住单词, 还可以掌握它们之间的差别和用法。例如:include, contain 包含、包括; damage, destroy 损害、毁坏;project, plan 计划、方案; debate, argue 辨论、争论;official, officer 官、官员; celebrate, congratulate 庆祝、祝贺;allow, permit 允许、准许; conscious, aware 清醒的、感觉到的;power, energy, strength, force 力, 力量, 权力
七、反义词记忆法
把具有相反意义的的单词归类记忆。例如:positive 积极的—negative 消极的; praise 表扬—blame 责备;import 输入—export 输出; decrease 降低—increase 增加;safe 安全的—dangerous 危险的; combine 联合—divide 分裂;especially 特别的—generally 一般的; majority 大多数—minority 极少数
